L.A. Mart® Design Center and Modern Luxury Media partners to celebrate Los Angeles tastemakers, as featured in the fall 2010 issues of Angeleno and Angeleno Interiors, with a private VIP dinner.
LAMDC’s Main Lobby is transformed into a chic supper club for 40 specially selected guests to celebrate The Elegance of Our Times, hosted by LAMDC Vice President & General Manager Mark Furlet and Modern Luxury’s Western Region President & Group Publisher Alan Klein. A gathering of L.A.’s top art, design and creative talents enjoyed cocktails and smooth sounds while mixing amid a dramatic hotel-inspired lobby, created by Pierre Brodeur of Canzoneri Design, and featuring a fine art photography exhibition by famed interiors photographer and special guest Grey Crawford.
An elegant dining table in a palette of metallic accents proves a stunning backdrop for original 18th and 19th century antique tableware, accessorized with modern-day pieces, time-inspired elements, exquisite florals and flickering candlelight … all designed by Small Masterpiece’s Jason Murakawa and Brown Paper Design’s Danielle Rowe. Following an autumnal four course menu conceived by Chef Ilan Hall, guests adjourned for a selection of vintage ports and dessert pairings before departing for the evening.
