Stylish spaces that blend fashionable aesthetics with purposeful design are no longer just a benefit to clients of interior professionals. Come Spring 2011, LAMDC will offer that same luxury to its most loyal trade customers with the unveiling of the Designer Lounge.
Opening on LAMDC’s 12th Floor, this private work environment offers designers and their clients a comfortable yet decidedly L.A.-inspired setting to review project plans and product selections, source additional ideas, access information and internet services … or merely relax with a complimentary beverage. The design plan interprets an urban yet timeless sensibility. Clean, contemporary upholstered and casegood furnishings populate the organized research, lounging and meeting areas, complemented by a crisp, light-reflecting color palette with walls punctuated in graphic tones and patterns. An outdoor rooftop terrace offering conversation seating embellished by potted landscaping and graphic paint treatments underscore LAMDC’s downtown city vibe.
