Part III
"Living Green: Sustaining Business with Sustainable Design Practices"
October 6, 2009
Quality-of-life and environmental sensitivity inspired a shift towards eco-consciousness as more than 100 design professionals attending the October 6 lecture discovered that greener design is both sustainable and stylish. California Homes Editor-in-Chief Susan McFadden moderated a diverse panel including Studio of Environmental Architecture’s David Hertz, FAIA, LEED AP, celebrated merchant and interior designer Nathan Turner, and actor/author and holistic practitioner Mariel Hemingway. Guests later mingled at a champagne reception in the PALECEK showroom. View the video to see highlights of the October 6 presentation.
