On February 13, L.A. Mart^® Design Center celebrated the grand opening of the new Haptor/Barrett Modern and Haptor/Barrett Traditional showrooms, a 30,000+ square-foot designer showcase linking grand classic tradition with 21st century modernism.  More than 250 interior designers, furniture industry VIPs and special guests joined together for the premiere featuring a special presentation by “Vintage Modern” design icon Thomas O’Brien, who personally designed the gallery housing his Hickory Chair collection.  Sipping SKYY Vodka martinis while grooving to smooth vibes, the stylish set marveled at each showroom’s inspired, architectural signatures and dramatically appointed interiors created by L.A.-based architect Deborah Forbes.
